Expensive for plain glass filter
Don’t let the Canon name fool you. This is no fancy filter, just plain glass with the name to raise the price. Flare is awful as one would expect with no coatings.

Packaging didn’t survive shipping
The lens arrived already opened and the lens was loose. Amazingly, there was no damage to the lens, but filters shouldn’t arrive bouncing around.
